We would like to announce that we have disabled the FLOKI bridge at Multichain in light of the recent uncertainty surrounding the popular bridge service provider.
Multichain is the industry’s most used cross-chain bridge service, but recently their CEO has been incommunicado and that has affected the availability and reliability of their service. Out of an abundance of caution and to ensure that FLOKI isn’t exposed to any risk whatsoever, we proactively withdrew all the tokens we had in the bridge and essentially disabled it.
This was done in a series of transactions and below are the relevant TX hashes:

The FLOKI tokens removed from the Multichain bridge are currently held in the Floki multisig treasury wallet.
A total of 190,918,585,431.84 FLOKI tokens were removed from the Multichain bridge. 157,544,600,000 was sent to the Floki BSC multisig and 33,373,985,431.84 was sent to the Floki ETH multisig.
The vast majority of the FLOKI bridge tokens were burnt earlier this year after a DAO vote in an attempt to secure the project due to the risks associated with cross-chain bridges.
We continue to monitor the situation with Multichain and will be providing more details on the next steps we will be taking soon.
