We’re excited to welcome Tom Kane to our Advisory Board! Tom brings extensive experience in the financial services sector and is sure to make a significant impact on our team.
Since 2015, he has been the President and CEO of the Illinois Credit Union System. Tom joined the Illinois Credit Union League and its business subsidiary, Envisant, back in 2003, where he held several leadership roles, including Chief Administrative Officer, Executive Vice President of Operations, and Chief Security Officer. He also has a background in management and tech roles at major companies like Aon Corporation, Quaker Oats, Focal Communications, and even the Central Intelligence Agency.
Currently, Tom serves as the President and CEO of Services Credit Union and is involved on the boards of several organizations, including America’s Credit Union Museum, Cambio Financial Health, AviaryAI, and League InfoSight. He also contributes to the advisory boards of FIS, Bank Social, and Pure IT.
Tom earned his Master’s Degree in Government and International Studies from the University of Notre Dame, and he holds a BA with a triple major in Business, Political Science, and History from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa.
Outside of his professional commitments, Tom enjoys life with his wife, Beth, in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, where they are in the midst of renovating their home and have raised four adult children.
